Empresas Lipigas announced the investment of USD 5.5 million in FREST Chilean startup dedicated to the online marketing of fruits and vegetables to end consumers and businesses. Today they deliver more than 4,000 orders a month and have a plan to continue growing and boost omnichannel sales.

This operation is part of the corporate strategic plan for growth, diversification and transformation of Lipigas, in this case, through its subsidiary Logística y Desarrollos Digitales SpA. The agreement will allow the startup to take advantage of the extensive capabilities in logistics, digitization of processes and Lipigas customer service, which will be essential to fulfill its growth plan.

With this, Lipigas seeks to generate synergies with businesses that can grow thanks to the company’s extensive experience in areas other than energy, in which it has been supported by the innovation consultancy Innspiral.
